The present moment

You know how it goes…the minute you rip something or somebody else for doing something is the minute God is going to ask you to do the same. A bit of background…

If you like me you are probably on a couple of WhatsApp groups that you really don’t want to be on but you value relationships and so you put up with getting forty odd notifications a day.

And not only are we forty up but most of the exponential growth in messages are due to the sudden explosion of prophets amongst us. It doesn’t matter which WhatsApp group you on, there is a prophet waiting to happen!

Don’t get me wrong, I want to hear the Prophets, or to be more specific, I want to hear God speak. I just wish the prophets would not post something every hour. Just give me a day or two or three to at least process one of the words! With so many words and voices it got to the point a couple of weeks back where I said in my heart “So what! What do these words actually have to do with discipling nations”.

I should have known better and it wasn’t long before Father started causing a word to rise in my heart. For two weeks now I have tried to ignore it, tried to fill my time with work in the hope that it would disappear. Hoping if I ignored it, it would go away but the more I ignore it, the stronger it has become. So today I recognised defeat and I sat down to write down the word to share it. How quick did Father do a job on me!

I am now officially one of the new generation WhatsApp wannabee prophets and here we go!

I started hearing a couple of weeks back the word convergence. I really didn’t understand this which obviously meant I was going to have to ask. I just don’t know why Father has to do it this way. He should know by now, I will eventually get there; why make it difficult!

The word convergence simply put means when two or more things, ideas, or experiences etc. become similar or come together in union to create a new norm or reality. Convergence in God from a personal point can often mean that our individual callings, prophetic words over our lives and or our life experiences come together in a moment of time and unity that propels us to experience a new reality or norm in God. Likewise the thought can be applied to families, organizations, businesses, churches, cities and nations. In that moment what has been taught, lived, searched for and finally experienced converges to become the new norm or the new reality.

As I sought to understand what God was saying around this new reality I felt Him highlight four specific areas that were going to converge in this moment of time;

1. The Gospel of the Kingdom
2. The disciplining of Nations
3. The seasons of Abraham’s
4. The multi-generation outpouring

The world is ready for the gospel of the kingdom that will disciple the nations into a new era, a world reality, a new norm so to speak. There are men and women; hidden, who in the next couple of months and years will be released from place of hiding and will start walking the new lands of the nations. They will discover the hidden treasures within themselves and their pioneering will release an outpouring upon young and old, that will cause a harvest of the nations. The nations will begin to inquire of the Lord. There is a window of opportunity for His children to fashion this age of history like never before.
